Interested in Cognitive Rigor, Depth of Knowledge, Bloom's Taxonomy? Our Social Media Keeps You Updated

by John R. Walkup, Ph.D.

We constantly provide new insights and ideas related to various aspects of rigor, especially related to K-12 education. There, those interested in rigor should consider viewing and following us on various social media.

Blog

Besides the Cognitive Rigor Blog (a huge collection of articles related to Cognitive Rigor), we have authored blogs for Thinkgate, including:

Webinars

We have also presented webinars for ThinkGate on the issue of rigor.

Scoop.it!

Our Scoop.it! curation is devoted exclusively real-world applications of Bloom's TaxonomyDepth of Knowledge, and Cognitive Rigor

To compile this curation, Scoop.it! sends me daily feeds from Web pages it thinks relates to rigor, from which I filter for quality. I typically add one item per day. Currently, I have about 250 articles posted.

Originally, I posted numerous articles on Bloom's Digital Taxonomy, but tired of seeing the same ideas propagated time and again. Now, I only post new articles on Bloom's Digital Taxonomy when someone offers a novel use of the taxonomy, which does not happen very often.

Now, most of the articles I curate relate to Depth of Knowledge and Cognitive Rigor, especially the latter.

Twitter

I tweet constantly about news items related to rigor, including any time I add new items to this blog. You can follow me on Twitter: @jwalkup

RSS

This blog contains an RSS feed on the right that will allow you receive updates on any changes I make to the blog.  Or,just follow me on Twitter.

Email

I always look forward to email from anyone interested in discussing rigor. (And I always respond to email of a serious, professional nature.)  You can view my email address by selecting "The Author" menu at the top of the page.
